Venice Apparel was born at home, in the everyday magic of motherhood.
I was a stay-at-home mom, deeply hands-on, watching my two-year-old light up as she began identifying letters and animals everywhere we went. Learning wasn’t something we saved for worksheets or school hours — it was happening all the time. At the beach. At the grocery store. On our walks.
When I began homeschooling, I had to get creative. Phonics lessons turned into games, conversations, and visuals woven into daily life. “V is for Venice” — now Venice Apparel — grew naturally out of those moments.
These shirts aren’t the end-all-be-all. They’re simply another gentle, joyful tool. Cute. Recognizable. Familiar. A small way to reinforce learning and curiosity while kids are being kids.
My hope is that Venice Apparel supports moms in building rich, playful, learning-filled worlds — one moment, one letter, one little mind at a time.
